With RFX, you can choose how often it sends temperature readings to your device — every 1.0 °C/F, 1.5 °C/F, or 3.0 °C/F change. The larger the interval, the longer the battery lasts.
We recommend the following based on your cooking time:
Quick cooks (under 5 hours) – 1.0 °C/F interval
Medium cooks (5-15 hours) – 1.5 °C/F interval
Long cooks (15-65 hours) – 3.0 °C/F interval
We suggest following these guidelines to ensure your battery lasts throughout your cook.
